In any meaningful relationship there will be times of disagreement. In this message we will look into how to handle disagreements in a way that is constructive and life giving. God calls His people to speak the truth in love to one another and we will look at what this means, practically speaking, in the context of a disagreement. 

This week we'll explore how being made well comes with a call to live in community with others and have a redemptive impact in their lives.​

Slothfulness is frequently not recognized as a sin. In this message we will discover what sloth is and how God calls His people to be courageous—to have a sturdiness of soul, pursuing God and His agenda.

Envy tends to be more of a problem than most people realize. In this message we will discover that faith, believing that God supplies everything we need, can move the follower from envy to kindness. Kindness meaning that we can be considerate and generous with others.

Gluttony is a sin. However, it is often mis-defined, wrongfully understood, or even dismissed as a mere weakness. This week we will examine unhealthy self-indulgence by exploring the concept of gluttony. Further, we will explore God’s original plan for nourishment of the body and spirit, through right alignment and self-control. When we understand God’s perspective and intention for our lives, self-control is understood as a gift of strength from God, rather than a list of steps rooted in self-help. This strength is attained through a desire to holistically honor Him. 

Anger is a big problem. In this message we will see that its source is frequently a perceived injustice. As the follower of God loves what God loves, hates what God hates and pursues godly justice, anger is displaced. We must learn to wait patiently on the Lord, knowing He makes all things right.

God promises that He blesses the pure in heart, therefore, we must not give in to lust. In this message we will see how biblical love displaces the vice of lust and leads to the virtue of purity.

This week we will explore the vice of greed and how hope, rightly placed, frees us up for a life of generosity.

This message begins our 7-week closeup look into the 7 deadly sins and the virtues that are to displace them. Today we will see that humility is to displace pride and the means of grace for this to really happen is right-mindedness.

Malachi, as the last book of the Old Testament, shares some important insight for the follower of God. In this message we see that God calls His people to be devoted followers who revere His name and invest in what matters for eternity. 

From Zechariah we discover the action of authentic obedience is only made possible through recognition and humble acceptance of the power, provision, and presence of God. 

From Haggai we discover insight that is essential to how a movement in God takes place. In Haggai's time it was about the people being inspired to rebuild the temple. In our time it's about being inspired to build the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus.

How does God feel about you? Zephaniah answers this question, assuring us that God has created us for intimacy, love and friendship with Him and He is present with His people. The Lord is mighty to save, takes great delight in His followers, quiets us with His love and rejoices over His beloved with singing. Listen to this message with expectation of an encounter with a God Who loves immeasurably more than you can imagine.

The prophet Habakkuk wrestled with God on why He wasn’t addressing the ungodliness of His people. When God did address their sin, using an even more ungodly people to correct God’s people, Habakkuk really began to wrestle with God. Habakkuk models for us how to wrestle through troubled faith and come to a faith that is triumphant, a faith that trusts God no matter what is going on.

In this week’s message, from Nahum, you will be challenged to trust that God will do what is right, in His time and for His purposes. God delights in mercy but there does come a day when God will say enough and judgment will follow.

Ever wonder what God expects of you as a follower? Micah gives a succinct answer to this question.

Jonah will challenge us to wrestle with the condition of our heart and our view of God’s mercy and deliverance, both for ourselves and for others.

This week we will look at Obadiah’s warning that pride can deceive us into believing we can be completely self-sufficient. 

In the book of Amos we discover that it is critical to see cause and effect. We must understand that God interacts in our lives more than we often realize, and He desires that we live faithful lives in Him.

In the book of Joel we are given a picture of, and invited into, the experience of The Day of the Lord. In this message we will look at what this means and how it prepares us for the return of Jesus. 

We are Called to walk in the way and the wisdom of God. The minor prophets teach us how to do this, in the light of God's love for us.

Nine years ago the vision was presented of being a church where people encounter grace, grow in grace and give grace. This message will look at that vision again, with the perspective of nine years of experience.

In this message we will look at Christmas as a time to rediscover that Jesus is our source of peace. Jesus graces us with peace on the inside, peace with others and the blessedness of becoming peacemakers.
