I've felt this way ever since I rededicated myself to Christ. I've been trying to court my fiancee now after being together for 11 years and realizing I was wrong about how I approached my love for her. Now I'm trying to help her understand this way of thinking. We made a few bad financial decisions when we were younger in college and now in our 30s, she's acknowledging her "timeclock". We are trying to fix our credit now and she's putting pressure on owning a house and a new car and having children. I understand how she feels because of what this world says we should have now that I'm 30 and she's 33, but I'm trying to get her to understand that material things will come as GOD sees fit and only after we put him and serve him first. I want to own a home but I'm content if I never get that chance as long as I'm pleasing to my Father in Heaven because everything I never got or will never get down here GOD will give me 100 fold in Heaven. Great message brother Steve.
